has a great idea for you. Make this

edueation through the Florenee
Melton Sehool of Adult Jewish
Learning. We have lots of exeiting
elasses starting all the time and
new elasses are being added to the
sehedule eonstantly. Starting in
January, two new elasses will be
added to the Florenee Melton eur-
rieulum offerings at the library.
The first elass will expand your
knowledge and understanding
about Israel, while the seeond new
elass will illuminate the Jewish
holidays in ways you’ve never
imagined.
Our Shlieha, Adi Rodvasky, is
the newest addition to the teaehers
of our adult edueation program.

Adi will be teaching “Israeli Lit -
A Window Into Israeli Society.”
The class will begin Thursday,
January 15 and run for about ten
weeks meeting weekly on Thurs
day mornings for 90 minutes. “A
Year of Jewish Holidays” will
bring the Jewish holidays to life.
Each year is full of amazing holi
days steeped in traditions, text,
and much more. This class will
delve deeper into each holiday
and expand your knowledge about
them. Classes will meet monthly
and will discuss the next upcom
ing holiday or the most recent
holiday. To learn more about

the greater Charlotte community.
We have a thought provoking
lineup of speakers which will ad
dress topics relevant for teachers
teaching preschool students
through high school students.
There will be breakout sessions
featuring specific topics as well as
a keynote address for everyone
after the breakout sessions. Look
