Just upstream from Lillington on the Cape Fear River, this area is often more like the moun tains to the west than the lower piedmont. T Tuesday - Sunday July 27 - August 8 RENT, the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award winning musical, takes the stage at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, Charlotte. Rent is a joyous and breathtaking musical that celebrates a community of artists as they stru^le with soaring hopes and the tough realities of todays world. Shows are Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8:00pm, Sundays at 7:30pm and Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00pm. Tickets range from $22 to $60. Special $20 tickets are avail able for each performance in the front two rows of the orchestra. These tickets go on sale the day of the performance only, two hours prior to showtime, cash only, and with a limit of two tickets per person.
