Ever want to meet the writer, director or actors and ask them about their motivation? OutCharlotte’s The Reel Exchange series gives you that opportunity. This companion series to the Charlotte Gay & Lesbian Film Series provides a free film showing, followed by a facilitated discussion. This series will show local work (OutMedia’s LGBT soap opera project. Southern Disclosure), provocative documentaries and films about lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender people, and camp classics to bring us together to laugh and enjoy. “We wanted to provide the opportunity to talk about a film you've seen," said Cory McKnight, Film Series Co-Chair. “This free series is an excellent way to learn about LGBT people or our culture through a variety of filmed or video work. Some of it is serious, and some are totally fun!” The Reel Exchange Calendar Tuesday, February 19, 7 pm Southern Disclosure Will Steele have the nerve to come out of the closet?
