Beginning Sept. 18, The Sky Angel Satellite Network (www.skyangel.com) will run the program on Tuesday evenings at 11 p.m. (ET) on channel 9702, according to an ex-gay newsletter, “Pure Passion” will also broadcast on local affiliates with the Christian Television Network (www.ctntv.org). In the Carolinas, much of CTN’s programming is picked up by the Trinity Broadcasting network, which is carried by multiple stations in both states. “The last thing people of faith need is more pure propaganda and pure nonsense that is rejected by every mainstream mental health organization in the nation,” said TWO Executive Director Wayne Besen. “We are deeply concerned that innocent young people dealing with their sexual orientation will be led to self-destructive behavior, including sui cide, by a show designed to confuse fact with fiction.” The show, produced by Mastering Life Ministries, will be hosted by David Kyle Foster, a former male prostitute and actor (his crowning moment was in the role of a slaughter victim in “Halloween”). Exodus International presi dent and self-confessed former thief Alan Chambers will also appear, as will pop singer Sy Rogers and ex-lesbian activist Christine Sneeringer. “The colorful char acters hosting this show with questionable moral character will likely prove to be quite entertaining, as most circus acts are,” Loser line-up (clockwise); David Kyle Foster, Alan Chambers, Sy Rogers and Christine Sneeringer will host ‘Pure Passion.’ remarked Besen. “However, the litany of lies that will be broadcast are nothing to poke fun at and will shatter many lives.
