No salaried em ployee is eliRible. From each employee, or member, as they are called, the sum of twenty-five cents per month is charged, and the Company contributes to this fund an amount equal to that paid by the members. All collections are made by the Relief Agent, and deposited in the Rank of Radin, subject to his check, when countersigned by the Gen eral Superintendent. All employees contributing to this fund are known as members of the Tallassee Power Company Relief De partment, and any member in good stand ing on the payroll of the Tallassee Power Company, who has been in the service two consecutive weeks, is in gxx»d stand ing with the Relief Department, provid ed he has not indicated to the Relief Agent that he does not desire member ship in the Department. In order that the Department may be handled in an efficient manner, it is very important that the Relief Department be notified promptly in case of sickness or accident, so that the Relief Committee may be instructed to wait on the unfor tunate members, as payment for disabil ity is made from reports of the Relief Committee, and benefits are figured from the day of report.
