Cloudbusters Meet Wake Forest Here Next Saturday The Cloudbusters have an open date today, but will return to the football field next Saturday after noon for a game with Wake Forest College here. Scheduled for Kenan Stadium, the contest will get un derway at 1430. Wake Forest, or the Demon Deacons as they are known in foot ball circles, have been the surprise of North Carolina football this year. Two weeks ago they defeat ed North Carolina State by an overwhelming score, and on last Saturday handed Virginia Mili tary Institute a 21 to 0 defeat. The team started slowly, but has pro gressed to the point where many sports writers are predicting it will be the best team in the state by the end of the season. Pacing the Deacon attack will be two backs second to none in this section. They are Russ Perry and Nick Sacrinity. Perry, a fullback, saw little ser vice last week because of a back injury, but Sacrinity got loose for a 94 yard kick off return against V. M. I. Another Deacon that will bear watching is Fred Grant. He is the present leading scorer in the Sou thern Conference with 30 points. Bad weather held the Cloud buster practice sessions down greatly over the past week, but Lieut. Frank Kimbrough, USNR, head football coach, is hoping for a better break from the weather man during the next six days. In that several cadets on the varsity squad have completed their Pre-Flight Training, more changes are expected in the Cloudbuster lineup before next Saturday. Varsity Soccer Game Scheduled for Wednesday The undefeated Pre-Flight var>- sity soccer team will meet the 12th Replacement Depot from Camp Butner here Wednesday afternoon at 1600 on Emerson Field.
