The University of Miami has of fered him a scholarship in music and he’s giving the offer serious consideration. Coming from a family of pronounced musical a- bility, he has found himself “at home” in marching bands, popular orchestras, choirs, and quartets. For three years he has earned ex cellent or better ratings at the North Carolina State Contests for Solos and Ensembles, He plays the baritone horn in marching bands, drums in popular orches tras, and signs tenor in a church choir as well as in other vocal groups. Mr. Moss, who has worked at the plant during his vacations, says he would like to study medicine. It remains to be seen which field will exert the strongest attraction: medicine or music.
