For The Kiddies
ONE of the most popular games in the recently opened Recrea
tion Center is the electric football board, shown above aurmg a
‘^close” game between Jerry Westbrook, left, and Billy Ledford—
both sons of Firestone employees. The cheering section consists of
Judy Westbrook and Rita Ann Ledford, from left to right, sisters of
the players. This is just one of many interesting games that em
ployees’ sons and daughters may play at the Recreation Center.
Shown At Flower Show
THE FLOWER DISPLAY above is an artful arrangement of
Mrs. W. R. Turner, wife of Section Man W. R. Turner. This and other
decorative displays, following an autumn theme, were shown by
Mrs. Turner at a flower show in Dallas, October 3rd. The event was
sponsored by the Hoe and Hope Garden Club of which Mrs. Turner
is a member. In all recent Firestone Hobby Shows, Mrs. Turner s
exhibits of flowers, and miniature fish (another of her hobbies)^
have been outstanding competitors for top honors. i
