Firestone Akron employees contributed 1,848 pints of blood establishing an average of 154 PINTS a day. During the year the Pension Plan minimum pension was raised from $100 A month to $125 for employees who retire at age 65 WITH 25 years’ service. Employees from the Fall River, Massachusetts, plant are shown being honored before their retirements.
