improved products that will lead to
a larger and more profitable busi
ness. This task will take all the
initiative, ideas and efficient work
of every department and employee
in our business.

Every step from raw material to
the finished product is a part of
the final sale. The sale is the re
sult of the combination of every
plan and action within our com
pany that converts the work of all
employees into products our custo
mers want and need.
As the Wise One, Hakeem, said
in the legend, we must have the
priceless ingredient in our products
before we are sure they will be ac
cepted by the public—our Honor
and Integrity. This means Quality.
And that is why we have always
stressed quality in the development
and production of every one of our
products. The aim toward quality is
the basis for our rigid inspections
from the time the rubber is pur
chased to the completed tire in the
shipping room. It is the basis for
our whole Quality Control pro
gram. It is the basis for the
thorough checking of all work done
in our offices, laboratories and
other phases of the business. Every
job counts.
If we have that priceless ingredi
ent of high quality we can meet
any competition. We can Sell More
in ’54, We can have MORE
SALES, MORE JOBS AND MORE
WORKERS,
We are counting on each and
every one of you to do your part
in producing high quality products
and giving your best in service.
