Others in February receiving lapel pins, recognizing their long-term service were: Textile Committee Work Is Extended The Federal government’s in teragency committee on textile industry problems will be ex tended indefinitely, White House news sources announced in mid-February. The committee was originated last year on recommendation of a Senate Commerce subcommit tee which studied industry con ditions. It was to expire upon making a report to the President and Congress on what could be done to help domestic producers of textiles. The report, due in January, has not been completed. DONATIONS: 165 PINTS IN FEBRUARY Quota Exceeded On Last Bloodmobile Visit Mark up another bright chapter in Firestone’s record of participation in the Red Cross bloodmobile program. The 165 pints donated to the Carolinas Regional Blood- bank here on February 22, made 40 pints over the quota for the first of two visits the mobile unit scheduled for Firestone this year.
