discussed the finctncial situation that the Company
is facing at this time. I was very encouraged with
your response that we can and will do even better
than our recent performance to contribute to the
goal of increased profitability.
Our goals for next year are further improvements

endeavor.

SAFETY HEWS

On December 18th, the Key Safety Team selected
twelve winning safety slogans for the Safety Banner
Contest. Teaun members would like to th£ink everyone
who entered slogeins in the contest. Choosing only
twelve was very difficult.
A new banner will be displayed at the plant
entrances each month starting in mid Jsuiuary.

FIRESKMg WINS STATE AWARD
Our facility has been named a recipient of the
Job Service Employers Award of 1990, given by the
Employment Security Commission of North Carolina.
Nomination for the award came from the Gastonia
ESC manager based on our working relationship and
affiliation with the Commission. We were one of
81 companies in North Carolina to receive the
award.
