ITEMS Now thct summer is practically here, let's all do our best to keep the Roam ing V/ench flying, Y/e did very little flying during the vdnter months, so let’s make up for it while the weather is good. It was decided at the meeting of the PA Flying Club monbers last week that we would change the ai^ne of our ship fror a 50 HP engine to a 65 HP engine when it's due a major overhaul. (Red says we can have another party now tint he's got the engine question settled. All in favor, please voice your opinion as to what kind of party you want.) it's nice to see Maxine V/alker hanging around Piedmont again. Maxine was a- way for quite awhile during a seige of illiness. Since this is the first issue of PA News since Mrs. Jones and Mrs. McCrae came to work for us, I think it only proper to dedicate this issue to them. Congratulations are in order for Mr. Northington. He's the proud father of a 7g lb. boy. The new addition to the family vdll be R. S. Northington, Jr. Joe Fix and Howard Cartwright, former employees of Pieditiont Aviation, have returned to our shop from the armed forces. V'Je are all happy to have them back.
