It is always a big help to the team to
have a big rooting section, so let’s all
turn out. All games are scheduled to
start at six o'clock.
NEWS. ITEMS
Now thct summer is practically here,
let's all do our best to keep the Roam
ing V/ench flying, Y/e did very little
flying during the vdnter months, so
let’s make up for it while the weather
is good.
It was decided at the meeting of the PA
Flying Club monbers last week that we
would change the ai^ne of our ship fror
a 50 HP engine to a 65 HP engine when
it's due a major overhaul. (Red says
we can have another party now tint he's
got the engine question settled. All
in favor, please voice your opinion as
to what kind of party you want.)
it's nice to see Maxine V/alker hanging
around Piedmont again. Maxine was a-
way for quite awhile during a seige of
illiness.
Since this is the first issue of PA
News since Mrs. Jones and Mrs. McCrae
came to work for us, I think it only
proper to dedicate this issue to them.
Congratulations are in order for Mr.
Northington. He's the proud father of
a 7g lb. boy. The new addition to the
family vdll be R. S. Northington, Jr.
Joe Fix and Howard Cartwright, former
employees of Pieditiont Aviation, have
returned to our shop from the armed
forces. V'Je are all happy to have them
back.
