'SALUTE OF THE MONTH^
Grand Old Man"^, Mr. Tom Richards, rotes the Salute this
month. '^Mr. Tom"" os we all know him, is the oldest employee of
Cleveland Mill & Power Co.—he is 77 years of age, and on the
job every day, rain or shine, summer or winter. He has worked for
this Company, os General Overseer of the Winding, Packing and
Finishing Departments for 47 years—quite a record for you
youngsters to "shoot at". In addition to his duties at the Mill, he
finds time to be Mayor of Lawndale and has held this office for 20
consecutive years, and all those years on the one initial election.
Ask ""MR. TOM"' about his hobby and he"ll start telling you all
about the art of Fishing and he should know for he"s a REAL
FISHERMAN and as we said before, '"A GRAND OLD MAN.""
