MOTHcR Of THEy'AOMTr) ' 7% Dear Boys: /V very thanlcful for the editors of the '’Hoover Rail" and proud to have this . opporbuDity of saying Hello to all the home boys in the armed forces. As mother of the \ month. I’m not verj’’ nmch to write, but, as ^ ) you all IcnoT/, a very big talker. We mothers all miss you boys at home, but neverthe less we’re trusting God to take care of you in your fight for freedom and give you a quick and safe return back home. The Popularity Contest this month will probably be a thrill to all you boys^'.jIiG o you see some of the nice looking girls’ pictures in Lawn dale, but be careful, boys, and vote for your best girl and don’t pick on mine for I’ve always been pretty tough v/hen my ”gal" stainted courting, but now I don’t worry rmi-r^h for there’s no courting goin on now vjith the single gii'ls since you boys have left, but they’re behaving very well and always smile v/hen they get a letter from a soldier boy. There's no news that I can.think of this month from the home front, but we are all working hard during the day-and attending preaching at night, with Evangelist Samuel E. Simms from Hickory conducting the services and it’s been a great success so far. Well, boys, as I hr,ve already said. I’m not much to write so for this time I’ll say ’Bye to you all, and may God bless and keep you and bring you safely home is our prayer. llrs. E. G. Wease (Urs. King vVease)
