SALUTE OF THE MONTH
Proudly; we salute Miss Mildred Eoker, A "FIRST-CLASS GIRL,"
from Lawndale, now a "FIRST-CLASS PRIVATE" in the United
States Marines. We are happy to pay tribute to our only "FE-
MARINE," a swell person and a conscientious worker. Mildred,
before joining the Marines, worked in The Cleveland Mill &
Power Co. office. She helped greatly each month, in getting out
The Hoover Rail, in that way, doing her patriotic "BIT"—now
she is doing her "BEST" in the finest possible manner. Those of'
us who worked with Mildred miss her, but at the same time are
very proud of her, and all Lawndale joins The Hoover Rail Gang
in wishing her the best of luck, always, and lots of it.
