That was a magnificent t6tal' for a village the size of ours and we know you'll be proud to "tell that to the Marines." And now, for' more'recent news - The United War Fund Drive, the drive to h61p support the'USO‘-s,etc, v/ell, Lnwndale "dood" it again, they went over our quota by a 6/k^ majority-We -were assesed $1000,00, and the folks cheerfully gave to the tune of $16^0.14, So rest « assured, boys, that Lavmdcile always stands ready to answer every call that’backs you- aiii
