Boys, try to think of God in the same way you think of Jesus, "Saviour like a shepherd lead us- Iluch we need thy tender care; In thy pleasant pastures feed us- For our use thy folds prepare * We are thine, do thou befriend us- Be the guardian of our v/ay; Keep thy flock from sin defend us- Scek us vAien we go astray," ^ -Si- "NEITS FRai THE FRONT" Dear "hoover Rail": I ivould like to express my appreciation to the people responsible for publishing the "Hoover Rail". It has been a great help on keeping- up with the nows and life of Liwndcj£5, It also renders an invaluable service by furnishing information on the whereabouts of the other fellows. Here at Asbury Park there are many things that impress me, such as the hundred odd hotels acqommodating a maximum of 150,000 tourists. The Hoover Rail answers about all the questions in our minds, it also carries other things of interest. I always look forward to reading, "Sky Pilot Sermonette" by Rev. Durham Vi/hisnant, it is very fitting. My boy friend and I visited London again a few days ago. We sec something new every time. The ruins of the city being the climax. Well I am hoping the war is over soon, am looking forward to my first time home. Not having a chance to go hone during my short army service in the States. I»U say again, thanks for the ptper and good luck to each of you. Pvt. Franklin W. Richards England ■it ■?}• * Dear Jim and Staff: Just received my November copy of the "Hoover Rail". Certainly enjoyed every word that was in it^ Especially the part that Mrs. Laxton Mauney wrote r.bout thg Lattimore family tree, and Tod Caldwells' letter. Where is Capt. Falls? Never did got a chance to see him while I was up north. Ran into Boyd Dixon the other day. The first fellow from back homo that I had seen since leaving the States two years ago. He showed me some of the Fallston Service papers he has been getting. I’m looking forward to the Dec, issue. AnKious to learn who Miss Lawndale is, Jim, I would appreciate it very much if you could send me the addresses of some of the boys that are over here, PFC. J.W.
