Both the boys seemed to be enjoying loafing around and'seeing friends. At the expiration of their furlough they reported to Camp Clochete. La* Cpl. Delbert Willirjns of Cnmp Gordon, Ga* recently spent *a 10 day furlough vdth his sister, Mrs, Velius Bivins and Mr, Bivins.. Dolbcrt has seen cuite a bit of over seas service in the'Carribean Area and was wearing all kinds of ribbons etc* He re ported to- Ft, Meade, Md. after his furlough, Evere;bt V/ease, s/2c spent the week end of Feb, 10th with his wife and also his parents, Mr, and Mrs, Charley Wease. Everett has just completed Boot-training at Bainb;^d‘ge, Md, and we know just how much, he enjoyed getting home and having some . . good hone cooking. He has now been assigned to Boston, Mass. a.nd Leona is making plans to become a "Bostonio-n” for awhile anyv/ay. . Bus Wright .of the Navy, was- heirc’ rcce'ntly for a 10 day leave with his wife and '• fOjViily, Bus certainly looked hale and hearty and had many interesting things to tell according to Jim Osborne, S^'t-. Harold Bridges evidently found a "Rabbits foot” rather recently - cause he*s had the grandvluck of being trraisferred to Ft, Jackson,'S, C. from Ft, Sill, Okla, * ' He md his wife and their cute youngster have been home several times recently, much to the delight' of E, D, Bridges oxid fojnily - And as if his transfer wasn’t enough luck for any one boy, his Dad bou^t him rii automobile, so that now Harold is really the "fair-haired child of Lawndale," •• ' , ; ' Pvt. Gene Wease, son of Mr. 'rend Mrs,. Alex^Wease v;as homo this past month for a’ 5 day furlough, Gene looked grand-ajicl from all reports had a. grrjrid time while home. He reported‘back to Ft.
