THE PIEDMONITOR July 1. 1951 Page 6. NEW FACES and TRANSFERS: Two new INT Pursers are Jack KOONTZ and Clay RIPPLE. James E. NELSON and Henry W. KREEGER, are the two new Jr« Mechanics in Maintenance (INT) and also new faces in the Army Hangar are those of Jr, Specialists Harvey S. HULS, Robert E, GRIFFIN and George E. BODENHEIMER. At Fixed Base (INT) on the line Jack M. CARTER and Julius W. WALL have joined the ranks. NNW has a new Operations Agent - John D. CALLAHAN. First Officer Allie Gene MELSON, is now on the line, flying out of ORF. Flight Dispatch (INT) has acquired the services of a clerk, Theresa WOZNISKY. Patt y Louise WALKER joined IBM Accounting INT as of June 11, and on June 1st Olive WEBSTER (Johnny’s wife) joined the Engineering Department, v/hile Mary Irvin THOMPSON transferred back to Zeke’s Office when Joe COOK joined the Passenger Service Dept. Don JOHNSON has trans ferred from Airline Stockroom INT to Maintenance INT. Roy PRUITT and Ralph SHORE are new additions to Airline Stockroom IJ^T a-s of June 1, and Richard CAUDLE transferred from Fixed Base Line to the Airline Stockroom* Our Best Wishes go to B. K. MOORE, INT Maintenance, who has moved to Texas, and to R. S. BOYLp, Ground School Instructor, \^ho moved to Florida because of his son’s health. M. B. OWENS resigned June 5 to resume studies at i^tate College, and we also wish him lots of luck. We’ll miss Tom AUTREY, who has accepted a position with Delta Airlines in their Reserva tions Department. R. A. TURBIVILLE visited INT during June. He is stationed in San Antonio, Texas. ajt * « >S! QUESTION; LYH poses the question: “Which station has the most experience? We think we rank pretty high. Totaled it up and it came to 107 months. That’s eight years, nine months.” ANSWER: A current compilation indicates that LYH now has 111 months of airline experience, which equals an average of 22„ 20 months per person; whereas INT-F has a total of 284 months, for an average of 47.33 months per person. It should be kept in mind that this pic ture is ever-changing due to the transfer and replacement of personnel. HORSE SENSE - A horse can’t pull while kicking - This fact we merely mention. And he can’t kick while pulling, which is our chief contention. Let’s imitate the good horse, and lead a life that’s fitting; Just pull an honest load, and then there’ll be no time for kicking.
