Aug. 15, 1952 = THE PIEDMONITOR - Page 7 Hickory Morehead City The following item, submitted by Keith W. Russell, should be of interest to all of us. We might even try it ourselves sometime. ‘It was my pleasure to get to work a few days in RIC this summer; and when my wife, small daughter, and I arrived there we went out to the airport to get acquainted. ‘After we had met everyone. Miss Saunders, Mrs. Russell, and I were talking at the counter when I men = tioned ‘let’s eat in the terrace room and look over the beautiful terminal building’. Miss Saunders laughed and said, ‘the prices are high, but just mention Piedmont and everything is free’. ‘We laughed at her joke and went up to the mezzanine, took a seat and watched the large crouds hurrying back and forth. ‘Suddenly, we missed our small daughter, but not for long ~ out of the dining room she came with a glass of water and a pack of gum. ‘“How did you get that?’ I asked. ‘“I told them I was a Piedmont Air lines little girl, and it works! ’” Incidentals ‘Liittle Trorr'les’ Willie CoK {INT) has just be come the papa of a baby son, Frank Roscana (IMN) rates an infant daughter; A. E, Smith (IMN) and Leroy Fuller (INT) both boast daughters, too; Frank Holder (ORF)(for his honest to goodness first time) i papa of what happened to be a boy; and Bill Wall (INT) hails with a W. F. Wall, IV. Hope you won’t misunder stand - these little ‘kiddies’ have mamas, too, and we wish to extend to these new papas and mamas our heartiest con gratulations. A little girl, sitting in church watching a wedding, suddenly exclaimed: “Mummy, has the lady changed her mind?” “What do you mean?” the mother asked. “Why,” replied the child, “she went up the aisle with one man and came back with another."
