The Accounting Department has
increased its personnel by two
additional persons, it was an
nounced, with Edith Segraves,
ISM section, and Cecil Stewart,
general accounting, joining the
staff.
Accounting Is very proud of Its
current celebrity - Tom Morton,
who was elected a member of the
Board of Directors of ,the North
Carolina Credit Union league at
their State-wide Meeting here
at Winston-Salem recently*
IBM anticipates delivery in May
on a calculator and alphameri-
ca I key punch machine, and an
accounting machine in July.
These will facilitate the hand
ling of payrolls, statistics
and other accounting functions.

PAI BEGINS RECORID SCHEDULE
AS BEACH STATIONS OPENED
The largest schedule in the
history of Piedmont Airlines,
anticipating 25,000 passengers
during May from 36 daily flights,
got under way this month with
additional beach resort trips*
Coincident with the increased
schedules, stations at Myrtle
Beach and Morehead City were
opened and provided with daily
service, to be increased in
June.
Twelve ships, requiring 112
pilots to maintain the schedule
during the month will be used.
In this connection, there will
be 19 I NT crews, 4 reserve, 15
ORF crews, 3 reserves and 9 IMN
with 2 reserves, Chief
Frank Nicholson said.
