who were away for Mother's Day. Be
tween Bunny Hops and Hokey Pokey,
everyone had a real gone time. Wanna'
learn to dance? Come on down and hove
Curly Rose to teach you the Hokey Pokey.
He's got more wiggles than a rattlesnake.
Thanks to George Bosworth and Reggie
Powell for standing by to make it possible.
The three Mac's enjoyed a nice vacation
in sunny Florida. Like fishing? Come
on down - he can tell you about the yea
long ones I
Go get 'em Sounders and Lover Boy Jen
kins attended the Kentucky Derby. Be
tween mint juleps and mint juleps they
did OK.
Good luck to John Comer in BLF and
George Gilbert in MYR. Take good care
of our boys.
Herb Lamm, new employee of 2-1/2
months, has purchased a new home.
Keith Fabrizio has a new boat. Anyone
care for boating? Sorry, fellows, girls
only aboard.
We would like to welcome two new boys
to our gang: Eddie Jones, formerly of ORF,
and Larry Giles, EAL, ROA.
By the time you read this, Mr. James K.
Fabrizio will be enjoying himself with
the St. Louie women. If you have never
seen them, you're missing somethingl
The peanut gallery here on a Sunday
afternoon is really something. All of the
single gel lows get a big kick out of it.
The married fellows don't know what it
is all about.
Our Miss Evelyn Canterbury is making sure
she con get to travel on EAL pass. It's
simple enough. There is an EAL Agent
named Fitzhough she is tying up real soon.
We will keep you posted on the time and
place. If we can't find Evelyn, we have
to call EAL.

CHARLESTON - May 4 marked five years
of service for Station Manager, Jack
Kelley. He now proudly wears his five-
year pin pcesented him by Mr. Davis.
A fine fellow to work with. Jack is always
eager to help all fellow employees. Be
fore working for PAI, Jack attended
Central Airline & Radio School in Kansas
City. A great sportsman, Kelley is now
vacationing with his favorite friend, the
fishing rod, at any fishing spot he may
see along the way. It's a carefree vaca
tion for Jack, so any of you may see him
around your various cities - that is, if
you have shade trees, soft banks - not to
forget eager biting fish.
Don Garrett returned from his vacation,
spending most of his time at hime with
his new daughter. He is getting a few
hours in the air to begin work on his
Commercial License.
Esten Davis has returned from a restful
vacation and ready to handle "anything".
Life with PAI in Charleston is never dull.
We are all working toward the same goal.
It's certainly true to say, "We're one
happy family."

CHARLOTTE - New faces at CLT include
Charles Morris and Kathryn Rugg. Mrs.
Rugg comes to us from four years with TWA
in CMH. Nice to have you come along
with us, Kitty, we know you'll enjoy
Piedmont.
We are all up in the air here with moving
on our minds. The preliminary inspection
has been made of our new million dollar
terminal, and we will move in on the
14th of June for operation of 51/15 from
the new side. We have had a lot to say
about this new building in former news
items, but you would simply have to know
this building we've been in so long to
really appreciate a new home. Piedmont
has an excellent spot with all conveni
ences. Wish all of you could come down
for the dedication to be announced later.
Roy Raines has accepted a transfer to
Myrtle Beach for the summer months. We
already miss him, but sincerely hope he
enjoys his stay there. At last, I know
where I'll go on my vacation. We are
taking the ice cream freezer - he's furnish
ing the rest.
I believe flight 2 is surprising a lot of
people. I have no figures on the load
factor, but the way it loads up here looks
mighty good. It has done a lot to lighten
the load on 52. From the very first day
(boarded 14), the trip has seemed to hold
up well, especially out of Charlotte.
Flight 7 also is improving.
Congratulations to the Best's and the
Bennett's. They have four new arrivals.
They ore really cute little fellows. They
made their bow to this world lost week.
Now don't be hasty - they're Chinchillas.
Visiting with us today is Keith Bennett
from SDF. Nice to see the fellows from
the northwest.. .Piedmont areq,that is.

CINCINNATI - Well, we lost in the last
3000 contest, but take a look at those
boardings now, will you, and let's have
another contest.
Bill Hobart was in CVG and invited us to
have our pictures taken for a couple dozen
pages in the Piedmonitor one of these days
real soon. Boy, we're working at it.
Just returned from a real nice vacation
visiting down in New Mexico. Sure saw
a lot of nothing, just miles and miles of
tumbleweed and sand. Can't say much
for the scenery, too much of it.
Know what one arch support said to the
other? Let's get out of here and leave this
guy flat.
What TWA agent, tall, male, is so darn
interested in one of PAI new Rez Agents?
Kinda tough you working 4-12 - she's
working 6-3, and your days off don't even
correspond.
Jim Cunningham and Bob Hudson ore leav
ing soon for a month's tour of Europe,
probably returning to the scene of the crime.
