FIXED BASE FLASHES Cont'd. STORK LINE HAPPY BIRTHDAY jobs whenever they need to be done. Most of us stay indoors when it rains or snows, but the Line Crew is always there on the job. Anyway, all Fixed Base says "Thanks - we couldn't do without you," Eddie Culler and his men have all been busy with the Beech Service Clinic. This is one of the many services rendered by Beech Aircraft Corpwhereby two factory representatives visit our facility, and in spect all the Beech Aircraft in this area. Invitations were issued by PA| to all the Beechcraft owners in our vicinity, and we are pleased that we had such a large turn out for this very important clinic. We are also very proud of Mr. Northington, who sold a new E-18S Twin Beech to Mason- Dixon Lines, of Kingsport, Tenn. This is the first E-18s that we have sold so, need less to say, it is quite a feather in our cap. James L. Brown, Line Boy, was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Oct. 6. He is recuperating at City Hospital from a neck fracture. We all wish James a speedy recovery and hope to see h I m around before too long. Mr. Northington's secretary, Marian Harris, left PAI on October 7 to return to her home m Hollywood, Florida. SERVICE AWARDS Sam Hill - INT (5 yr.) Oct. 1 William Davis- INT (5yr.) Radio technicians will also have their share of work by changing the radio com pass, adding a high frequency transceiver and an omni receiver, and changing the VHP transceiver to a 20-channel ARC- 1 transceiver. Speculation has it that "967" should be on the line "sometime in November." ****************** **************** The above picture shov/s some of the fine channel bass that were recently caught by Tom Morton, left, INT-A, Sam Hill, right INT-A and Walt Rollick (at the camera) INT-C. The larger fish, as usual, got a- way but the fresh air and sunshine on Davis Island, off the N.C. coast and Tom Morton's supurb cooking, made this a very pleasant trip. Les Watson, INT-C and his group caught some mightynice ones at Davis Island the v/eek previous. Four channel bass between 32 and 36 pounds were caught by Les and his party. Sorry that we do not have pictures to tell the story. -9-
