CHARLESTON - (Contd.)
reason.
Paul Kelley sports his "Vic" — it's silver
blue
Sighing a sigh of glee, you see it's
brand new
Jack Kelley's Buick brakes slipped, and a
meter it did hit
The proud owner of a parking meter who
gives the other coin collectors a fit
Ann and Irene with stockings already hung
with care
Have those real Christmas "spirits" we
al I share
Eddie and Carol, Mack & Sue, Bill and
Tootsie this Christmas newly wed
Each to the alter this past year were
led
Those jolley old fellows, Lee & Bob
Their eager laughter no one can rob
Irwin Apple, also new in our family this
year
Certainly adds to the Stations holiday
cheer
Garrett and Burns so lively and quick
Fly in their flying machines more rapid
than ole St. Nick
Fisher with twinkling eyes gives his cigar
a I ight
Sweet little thing is off thru the holidays
says he's been living right
Abshire, playing Santa to new son this year
Is loaded with goodies as the time draws
near
Come New Years Eve Jack Berry will drum
In the news
Best old drummer a body could choose
Joe High—doing his new job this year in
Sales
In getting new Piedmont friends he
never fails
Bender and Settle--of course you all know
Have helped our CHW family to grow
Christmas comes but once a year
This little poem is only a small way I
can write to wish you cheer
It's the time of year to look the ole year
over
Don't you think this past year v/e've
1 ived in clover?
So with my hopes for you all for the
"mostest and bestest" of the coming year
May we ail work together, enjoy being
near
Oh yes. Merry Christmas to you all
The most joyful one you can recall.
FAYETTEVILLE-
Dot Davis
With Christmas drawing near, the FAY
agents are getting rather excited about our
coming station party. The party is planned
for December 10, to be held at the local
Bel-Air Resturant.We areall looking for
ward to a very nice time.
Bruce and Virginia Parrish from SDF were
down for a short visit this month. We were
very happy to have them come by as we
always like to see our ole' friends come
in and know they haven't forgotten
the old FAY gang.
FAY is getting ready for the big rush that
will probably start taking place around
the 17th of December. All the boys from
"Operation Sagebrush" will be returning
from down Lousianna way - then the fun
will begin-all of them will be going home
for Christmas and we are expecting quite a
rush - but we do like to see them come and
begin their trip on Piedmont - so look
out, connecting stations, we will be send
ing the traffic your way, too.
Continuing our introduction of the FAY
agent:This issue we will begin with Frank
Beasley, who has been with the Company
about 3-1/2 years. Frank is originally
from Southern Pines, but now makes his
home in FAY, in a very beautiful house
he has just purchased this year on Senaca
Drive. Frank and his wife, Leatrice, have
two very pretty little daughters, Susan
and Nancy. Frank is a verry sincere person,
well liked by all ther personnel andisthe
one that can always "tell you the story."
Frank has been in FAY his entire tour with
Piedmont.
Dwayne Jones has been with Piedmont in
FAY for 3 years. He and his wife, Ada,
reside at Hope Mills, N. C. Dwayne is
a very likeable person and can talk air
planes and football any time - he never
seems to tire of any talk concerning airl ines.
We sincerely think Dwayne would make a
good traffic man, because if he can't sell
a person on the idea of flying, no one can.
Dwayne has been stationed in FAY his en
tire tour with Piedmont.
Larry Cook is a local boy - has been with
Piedmont in FAY for about 2-1/2 years.
Larry and his wife,Bobbie, live on Fount
ain Head Lane in FAY. Larry is a very
nice person and loads of fun - there is
never a dull moment when Cook is around.
However, when there is work to be done,
Larry is always in there doing his share-
and doing it wel 1.
Waylon Johnson comes to PAI from Four
Oaks, N. C. Waylon and hisnew bride,
Shirley, reside on Circle Court in FAY.
Waylon is a very conscientious person -
well liked by everyone. Waylon takes his
job very seriously and always does a good
job. We thought for awhile Waylon would
not take that blissful step into matrimony,
but with a very sweet person like Shirley
we can well see why Waylon would not
let her g*3t away.
The FAYgang wishes you all the Merriest
Christmas ever.

With winter here the news is cold from
this spot on the PAI system. We were
honored with a visit from Mvr. Hager, Me
Gee and Bennett last month, and under
stand they wil I "Blitz" the place this
month.
Almost made quota last month, maybe when
we get the "H Marker" installed we can
make it sometime.
Offline, we had visitors from EAL/CLT
Traffic Dept., Mr. Sam Walker and his
boss "Hank" McConnell.
