these days. It seems as if Mrs. Robbins
sent R. A. Griffin on a deer hunt, and
much to Robbie's sorrow, he brought back
o deer. Mrs. Robbins is having the head
mounted to go over her mantle. . .. Robbie

From all reports, Becky is doing well on
her new job with the Revenue Departmert.
R .A. Griffin made his solo fl ight November
14, 1955. Carl Marin and Reid Cook
both received their private licenses this
month.
R.C. Rothrock was promoted from Senior
Mechanic to Inspector November 15.

pay envelope and complained to the pay
master.
"You were overpaid two dollars last
week and didn 't object", reasoned the pay
master.
" I know , " said the employee. "I don't
mind overlooking one mistake, but when
it happens the second time, I think it's
time to complain. "

ROSE PROMOTED
Bob Rose,RIC Station Manager has been
promoted to Division Station Supervisor
with headquarters in Richmond. This new
post gives Bob the responsibiity for the
supervision of our ORF, PHF, RIC, CHO,
DCA, LYH, ROA, BKW, BLF and CHW
stations.
Bob Rose has been with Piedmont for near
ly eight years. Prior to joining the Com
pany, he was with Eastern Air Lines for
eight years.
