The party departed |NT at 0600 and on arrival atDCAstepped into waiting limou sines, and promptly v/ere driven to Bollina Field. Many impressive ground displays were en joyed, including all types of military air craft and equipment. In the afternoon the air show was thrilling, featuring a flight of B-47s and the crack navy aerobatic and precision f I y i n g team " The Blue Angels. " With all twenty-four members present , they returned to |NT, tired, sun burned and quite satisfied that they had seen the finest air display in the world. Many thanks go to those who worked to make the event possible; "Shorty" Roy, who spark plugged the arrangements, the flight crew. Captain Gibson, First Officer Hawkins and Flight Attendant Archer, the station personnel at DCA for arranging the ground travel service and many others. The group was comprised of al I INT-M personnel except Mrs.Bob Saunders, M rs. Fred Hoffman, wives of INT-M employees, and Cecil Stewart, INT-A.
