IF YOU like'* Swimming . Boat i ng . Outdoor Sports . Dancing . Eating. . . . Relaxation . Then come to the Eighth Annual Piedmont Aviation Picnic on Saturday, August 18th, and bring the whole family. The setting and facilities are especially attractive for the youngsters. Stan Brunt announces that this year's outing will again be held at Camp Hanes and he promises that it will be the best picnic ever. As always, we can de pend on Stan to arrange a picnic, the memories of which linger long after the last barbecue is eaten and everyone has recovered from their attempts to prove that they are still young enough to compete in rowboat races, volleyball and tennis. Camp Hanes, as some of you will recall, can be reached by taking U.S.High- v/ay 52 out of Winston-Salem (North on Patterson Avenue) to N.C.66 beyond Rural Hall. Do not make the mistake of getting on N.C.66 at Stanleyville , where it first intersects with U.S.52. Turn right on N.C.66 and go about eight miles to a sand-clay road and turn left. There will be a Camp Hanes sign at this point. Follow the unpaved road to the Camp. The unpaved road may be somewhat treacherous during the day due to the traffic and rising dust if the weather is dry, so we urge everyone tobe care ful. The folks from out of town will be able to get transportation at the I N T Terminal Building and we are assured that there will be transportation available for all upon arrival of your "NRSA Special." jf anyone has some extra room in his car and desires to help out by carrying passengers to the picnic, contact Stan Brunt so that he can give you the details and put you on the schedule. SEE Y'ALL AT THE PICNIC
