INTERLINE AGENT OF THE YEAR
The lady in the picture you see on this page is Nancy Dabbs, Lady Agent in Charlotte,
who has been awarded the honor of being selected jnter-Line Agent of the Year. Nan
came to Piedmont over four years ago, brand new in the business. With her winning
ways,her earnest desire to learn the job and do a good one while she was at it, she
has earned the holiday jaunt to Burmuda, where she is currently enjoying the prize that
she won.
Perhaps a little history of this trip and the winner is in order. The Air Line Progress
Committee, composed of the station managers, sales managers and supervisory personnel
here at Charlotte, elect one agent each month as the Agent of the Month. These names
are submitted by each Airline on the basis of job knowledge, friendliness, courtesy, co
operation and accuracy. At the end of the
year, usually at an Interline Party, the
winner selected for the year is drawn from
the twelve . We think, and are justly proud,
that piedmont was well represented this
year. There are over three h u n d r e d
employees from all lines, and many were
nominated.
Nancy has won a trip to any point on any
airline's system,serving CLT; fifty dollars
expense money and a positive pass to ride.
This pass was for two, so she took along her
sister. Her name is engraved on a bronze
plaque and mounted in a very conspicuous
place inthe lobby of the terminal building-
as being the lnteH.ine Agent of the Year.
We, Piedmont, take this opportunity to
congratulate you Nan and say, "W e I I
done."
BEECHCRAFT SERVICE
CLINIC
Fixed Base held its Beech Service Clinic
September 24 - 27. This inspection is one
of the features of the Customer Service
Program sponsored by Beechcraft Distri
butors and Beech Aircraft Corporation.
Two Beechcraft specialists, along with
Fixed Base mechanics, held this inspection
to which all Beechcraft owners in our
territory were invited to bring their air
planes for a free inspection.
