CORNELL CLASSES
Mr. H. K. Saunders,Vice president. Oper
ations and Mr. W. G. McGee, General
Traffic Manager, have recently completed
three weeks of intensive study at Cornell
University, Utica, New York.
The Curriculum consisted of study in such
items as organization structure, business
planning,finance, labor rel ations,conference
techniques, management development and
other subjects designed to bring the busy
executive inclose touch with the advance
ments which have been made in those
fields.
The course of study is known os the Business
Leadership Course and is sponsored by t h e
American Airl ines, under the supervision
of Cornel I Univ ersity.

A native of Winston-Salem, Joe was em
ployed in 1 ?41 by piedmont Aviation as
Line Serviceman. Since that time his
duties have incl uded I ight plane and engine
overhaul and Dope Room operation.
Joe and his wife, Mollie, have one son,
Andy.
