COLUMBUS— NANCY By BUSHMILLER Vacations Varied; personnel “Tour The Hemisphere" Lee and Fran took their vacations the last of June and decided to take the grand tour of Texas first.. . .and a grand tour it was. Since Lee is from DAL, she had to show Fran how much bigger and better everything is in Texas. Fran's soldi From DAL they headed for MEX for a few days, went everywhere possible and did every thing imaginable in s u c h a short time. The highi ight of the trip was the bul Ifights. After the first three or four fights, Lee started feeling a bit pecul iar-so they made a hasty exit. They were going to Acapul co, but Lee decided they should go back and see more of Texas, so they spent a couple of days each in BRO, CPR, HOL, FTWand DAL. The same tour is planned for next year. Joanne went toHNL and then back through ABQ, STL and CHI. She had a wonderful trip to the Island on NWA, but says her fun wasn't spoiled a bit just because luggage was lost for two days. As far as she is con cerned they can't say too many nice things about HNL. The highlight of her trip was enjoying the singing of Alfred Apaka, the rage of the Islands, at Waikiki Beach's newest hotel. The Hawaiian Village. Paul took his family for a drive up into Canada. Upon returning, he decided his old car had seen its better days, so he traded for a new Studebaker sports car. Ed spent his vacation at home in Pa...just during the horse racing season... .wonder why? |f you want agood tip in the fourth race just cal I on Ed. Nancy and her husband have returned from MSY and the WestCoast. She says the only trouble with her vacation was that they spent too much money too quickly. Congratulations to Norma for representing Ohio in the Southern Baptist Speakers Tournament at Ridgecrest, N .C-Ridgecrest is near AVL in the beautiful Smokies. Norma visited with friends in TYS and toured the Smokies, then flew to MOB via Capitol Vis count. She is now a Viscount fan and is looking forward to our F-27s. DIDJA KNOW?
