Georgia McKee is leaving us on the 15th
of September. Sure hate to see her go. She
has been in DCA since we opened. Will
surely miss her. Her present plans are to

Effective August 1, 1957, Mr. Cliff Rowe
became Assistant Superintendent of the
Engine Overhaul Shop.
Mr. Jock Rowe became Foreman in Charge
of the Cylinder Department on the same
dote.
Both Cliff and Jake hove been with the
Company for approximately fourteen years
and have made valuable contributions to
our success. We feel confident that these
gentlemen can help us to build the best
Overhaul Shop in the country.

FISHING TRIPS
Word has been received from E. Z. Blan
ton (IMN Purser) that he can now arrange
deep sea fishing trips for Piedmont employees
and their families off the coast of Wil
mington .
Blanton reports that he has access to a
50-foot boat, USCG approved, capacity
of 17 passengers, tackle and bait furnished
for approximately $5.00 per day. Boat
would leave docks at 0700, troll for two
hours, drift fish for four hours and troll
for two more hours on the return trip.
Sailfish, King Mackerel, Dolphin and
many other varieties ranging in size from
one to fifteen pounds are being caught.
