A "REAL" BEAR HUNT
The above picture shows o young bear on
a hunt- of his own.Fortunatelyforthe bear,
the picture was taken while the 'hunting
season' was closed.
The following employees went on a bear
hunt recentiy and about the only thing
that was caught was a co I d . It has also
been said that the water was somewhat
cold for swimming.
Messrs. Saunders, Malott, Lyons, Brunt,
Brown, McGee, Turbiville, Dekay, Cart
wright, Barber, Apple and Northington ,
had a good time in spite of the absence of
the elusive bear.

anniversary month by registering an all-
time high in passengers per single month,
boarding 22,274for October,"John Eichner

"The previous high was 22,207 passenger;
in August 1957. "
TTA's fleet of 20 Starl iner planes flew
5,240,789 passenger miles in October, an
increase of 6(J over October 1956, when
4,957, 179 miles were flown .

F-27 INSTRUMENT PANEL

The picture on Page 5 shows the standard
F-27 instrument panel and pedestal. The
Piedmont F-27 Pacemaker will have added,
a Sperry Integrated Instrument System which
will eliminate the Artificial Horizon,
Omni Course Selector, Deviation Indicator
and RMI. In their place, will be three
instruments which present attitude and
computed signal information, heading
RMI indicator and a Pictorial Deviation
Indicator. Dual VOR and dual VHF COMM
control panelswill be located on the ped
estal in place of the autopilot control
panel, shown in the lower left corner of
the picture.
