CHARLESTON . . .
.... Ruth Miller
On December 21st Charleston held their
annual Christmas Dinner and dance. A
Cocktail Party preceded the dinner this
year at the home of Ruth Miller, and a
merry group met in the Airport Club room
for a turkey dinner with all the trimmings.
Joe High was to have been our Santa, but
was unable to attend, so substitute Bill
Scott did a good job of "stepping in. "
Much to our sorrow John and Helen Comer
were unable to attend. John enjoyed the
party at BLF the night before, and had the
flu the following day. Believe me, they
were certainly missed, 'cause they are
good party people.
Everyone is looking forward to the one next
year already - wish you all would attend.
CHARLOTTE . . .
December in Charlotte was highlighted by
our annual Christmas party which was held
at the home of Agent Bil ly Sanders . Every
one had a good time but missed having
Penny Combs there because her boy had
developed pneumonia.
Bad weather again cramped our boarding
style in December but we still had an in
crease of 134passengersover last December.
We are proud of achieving our goal in 1957
and we will again strive to beat our record
in 1958.

steaks which were enjoyed by al 1 . We had
our party at the local Highway Patrol
Lodge, the atmosphere and Christmas spirit
were greatly aided by the large open fire
