PAGE FOUR THE PIEDMONITOR DECEMBER, 1964 xMM •J : i Young Scott Ryckzek, son of Station Manager Walter Ryckzek, HTS, proudly shows teacher, Mrs. Geo. Muller, the results of his gardening efforts. It all began a year ago Halloween when the first graders pre pared a jack-o-lantern. Scott, along with the other members of his class, took home some of the left over pumpkin seeds and kept them until Spring. One seed survived the winter. Scott planted it and the result was a pumpkin stalk that grew . . . and grew . . . and grew. The plant spread through his mother's flower garden, across the yard, through the fence, into a neighbors yard and finally to the kitchen — where it became a pie! PIEDMONITOR W. G. McGee shows Piedmont's latest class of stewardesses a model of the F-27 that the girls will now be flying. The November 25 graduates are, left to right, Judith W. Hurlburt, Phyllis J. Long, (W. G. McGee), Patricia A. Bocock, Carolyn A. Fife, Donna M. Besaw, and Sandra J. Keeys.
