Herring, THERE'S JUST ONE PROBLEM — One of the subjects to be discussed at the recent Airlines Electronic Engineering Committee Meeting in Dallas was a “Flag Warning" presentation for airborne electronic equipment. J. R. Reagan, INT-O, found an old "Cross Pointer" Indicator and Dick .Foster (INT-XM) painted a set of confederate flags to be installed in ■he indicator. The flags made a big hit in Dallas, particularly with the airlines operating in the southern region of the U. S. A. “A lot of us," Bob Reagan says, “would like to make the red, white and blue flag presentation standard on our new electronic systems. However, we have one problem to overcome. THE FLAGS TURN GREEN WHEN YOU GO NORTH OF THE MASON-DIXON LINE." LOST AND FOUND - REVERSED - INT Mechanic Max Sinclair recently found a woman's pocketbook lying on a Winston-Salem street. The handbag contained over $100 and no identification. Shortly after Max placed his call to local police reporting his find a woman called to report her lost handbag. The bewildered officer on duty said it was the first time in fifteen years experience he'd ever known of a similar incident. The policeman must not have known many Piedmont em ployees!
