OCTOBER, 1966 THE PIEDMONITOR PAGE FIVE INTERLINE WINNER — Mrs. Ken Pruitt, INT Space Control, is all smiles as she accepts tickets to Acapulco which she won by answering a questionaire about Eastern Airlines. Presenting her with the prize is Eastern's District Sales Manager from Greensboro John Larson. Sheri Brown, Manager — Space Control, is looking on. WORK ON SCHEDULE — Indicative of the activity in The Boeing Compan/s Model 737 short-range jet-liner program, production workers swarm over the first 737 twinjet in the company's new Seattle, Washington, final assembly building. Spoilers and ailerons have been installed on the wings of the plane, which will make its first flight early in 1967. Tests of the electrical systems are under way. Ut'fajtfbi IN APPRECIATION — The Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce recent ly presented President Davis with this certificate commending the com pany for its efforts during the airline strike last summer. When time came to take the picture Mr. Davis said "I shouldn't be holding this. Ail the employees should be in this one. I'll just say thanks to them again." ROANOKE WELCOMES A WINNER — Miss Virginia, Linda Jo MacLin, returned home to Roanoke via Piedmont after winning the coveted Miss Congeniality title in the Miss America Pageant at Atlantic City.
