Piedmont employees at ourReston Reservations OJfice made
Christmas happen for 55 needy children.
Employees divided up into teams with each team sponsoring a spe
cial child. Then a party was held at the reservations office on a Sun
day afternoon prior to Christmas. The children, who ranged in ages
from four to 10. received toys and clothing. There were even two Cab
bage Patch dolls among the gif ts.
Many oj'the employee groups are still keeping up with "their" child
ren for birthdays and other holidays, and plans are already under
way for next year's party.
The project was headed by agents Mary Pister, Frank Contento
(now a supervisor in DAY), and Carol TruesdeU.
