A-6 Haleigh, North Carolina August 14j 194s Piedmont Airlines Smith Reynolds Airport VJinston-Salera, North Carolina Attention: Mr, Golson Gentlemen: The first of this month I vj^as called to Johnson Gityj, Tennessee, due to the death of my Brother. I wanted to get there as soon as possible so I chose air service. It was my first trip by air, and even though my mission was a sad one to me, personally, I wanted to tell you that the trip was the most pleasant and easiest one I have.ever made, Mr, McDonald at the airport here was very helpful and courteous in every vjay, the pilots were nice and the boy at Tri-City was equally as pleasant to me. In fact, in my confusion I lost my gloves and the gentlemen at Tri-City sent them to me. I felt this was exceptionally attentive. I wi^ to congratulate you and the Piedmont Airlines for having secured personnel of this caliber. Very truly yours. s/Margaret B. Colvert (Mrs, Frank T, Colvert) Now that is mighty fine and I am sure it is just one example of our many well pleased passengers. Although very few go to the trouble of writing in, they remember the handling which they received, KEEP' 'THAT IN MIND. ura/bbf
