A LETTER TO HIGHLANDS
Highlands, my beloved home, I
miss your majestic mountains, and
your silvery singing waters.I miss
your shady little lanes v;ith their
rickety rackety vine-covered fences
wobbling along on either side. I
miss the sun coming up over the
crest of the hills, casting its
rays down through the early morn
ing mist and throwing multi-colored
shafts of light into the valley be
low. I miss the golden meadov/s
dotted with patches (con’t.page 2)
