I represent another family in the
long line of those who come to
Highlands to live, and who never
want to go away again.
It vfas in the spring of 1935,
when I was teaching in Ware Shoals,
that I received a letter from an
Atlanta seminary student who want
ed me to know his plans for the

HORSEBACK RIDER THROV/I'J
Mr. J.E. Harvey of Jacksonville,
Fla., suffered compound fractures
of the left leg and severe lacera
tions of both legs when he was
throvm by a horse while he and his
bride were horseback riding near
the Country Club last Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Farvey were honey
mooning in Highlands when the acci
dent occured. The horse Mrs.Harvey
was riding was in front and it
kicked Mr. Harvey’s horse causing
it to throw and injure him.
He v/as given treatment at High
lands Community Hospital and then
sent by ambulance to an Atlanta
hospital for further treatment.

and Staff Orchestra last Saturday
night when they gave a performance
at the Highlands School Auditorium.
