It makes those of us who have attended these camps think of the good times we had and gives us a longing to get back,and to those who have never had this experience a great desire to attend. We appreciate the time and work put forth by Ben Edwards of Frank lin in shov/ing us this movie. Several boys are planning to at tend camp and we will be in camp for the week of July 5 under the leadership of the Scoutmaster. The registration has to be made at once, so all scouts planning to go to camp must be prepared to hand in their registration at our reg ular meeting, ^Thursday, June 2^-th, at our "Hut" in the old school building. Town Meeting con't. the board of commissioners of the town of Highlands that it shall be unlawful for any person to park any farm tractor, house trailer, semi-trailer9 trailer, road tractor, truck tractor, motor truck larger than a small, short wheel base pick-up truck, property hauling vehicles larger than a small pick up truck,or special mobile equip ment on Main Street or Fourth Street within the fire zone ^imits heretofore, established in the tovm of Highlands, provided, this shall not prohibit tifie parking of trucks and other property hauling vehicles for a reasonable length of time for the purpose of loading and unload ing. Section 2; It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle, truck, trailer, or tractor within any space in the town of Highlands marked "No Park ing" , except for a reasonable time for the purpose of loading and unloading. Section 3? Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and up on conviction shall be fined not more than fifty dollars and im prisoned not more than thirty days. Section This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption. This ordinance was adopted the twenty first day of June, 195^. Also discussed at this meeting of the town board was the well which is being drilled on Pine St. The well has reached a depth of 500 feet and an adequate supply of water has not yet been reached. Mr. V7. Ac Martin, of the Virginia Supply and Well Co. of Atlanta, will be contacted about the advise- ability of drilling deeper. Mrs. Wilson is the daughte:? of Mrs. Dave Rogers and the late Mr. Rogers and Mr. Wilson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wilsono The bride wore a pinl^ dress with which she used white access ories. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson are residing in Highlands. Miss Emily Potts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Potts, became the bride of Eugene Houston^ son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Houston, on Friday, June 11. The couple were married in Walhalla, S«C, and the bride wore a blue dress and white accessories.
