nesday morning, July 28, for all
committee chairman and consultants
to check over final plans. The
Flovrer Show will be held Saturday
August 1^ and Sunday August 15, in
the auditorium of the new school
building. The Garden Tours will be
the previous vreek, August 6 and ?•
Among the gardens to be shown is
that of James Floyd on the Golf
Club lake whose array of tuberose
rooted begonias has given joy to
many for a number of years. Along
the waters edge are various shrubs
and flowers whose beauty is doubled

The troop is very busy preparing
for the Macon County Scoutbraft
Field Day, which v/ill be held in
Franklin at the ball park, begin
ning promptly at 3200 p.m. Saturday
July 2^th.
There will be 1^ events in
Scoutcraft and 6 feats of physical
skill. This is one of the first of
its kind held in the County with
just the troops of Macon County
participating, and for those of us
who are interested in our boys, it
v;ill be interesting to watch. The
