The first issue of this season will be published Thurs day, June 20th« The paper will be pub^ lished each Ihursday thereafter for eleven weeks, ending August 29th* This will be the sixth consecutive season of the Galax News* This mimeographed paper is publish ed by the Galax Theatre which is owned and managed by O.F* Summer* EDITOR Mrs* Lois Potts Keener will serve as editor of the Galax News this sxammer* She is a graduate of Highlands High School and has held the position of secretary to the principal of Highlands School diiring the past school year. Assisting Mrs« Keener will be Miss Joanne Dendy who will be a senior in Highlands High School this fall* NEWS WANTED News items will be welcomed and appreciated. Please sign all written items.
