NATURE STUDY CLASSES
Nature study classed for children,ages
6-li;, are now being conducted ; at the
Museum of Natural History* During the
month of June, classed are held each
Tuesday and Thursday mornings from lOtOO
A*M. - 11:00 A,M* During July and
August, the children in age group 6-8 will
meet each Tuesday morning from 10:00 to
11:30 A.M. , and children in age group
9**lU will meet each Thursday morning from
10:00 - 11:30 A.M.
The program this summer will be direct
ed towards training each child to develop
some natural history project in which he
or she is interested. On Tuesday or
Thursday (depending on the age group to
which the child belongs) the counselor
will work with each child on the project
chosen by the child. Plans for the work
which the child id.ll do at home on his of
her project for the following week will
be outlined^

Dr. James P. Satterwhite and family
visited in Highlands last weekend. Dr#
Satterwhite a former Doctor at the High
lands Community Hospital, has been in
Japan as a Medical Missionary for the
past four years. They plan to return to
Japan in September.
