Punersl services for Dewey Arthur
Gregory, 56, of Highlands, were held Mon
day, June 17, at 11:00 a«,a. at the High
lands Methodist Ghurch,
The Rev, R.T* HoutjJr», pastor, offi-
cated, and was assisted by the Rev. L*
Eugene VJalter and the Rev, Fred Sorrells.
Burial was in the Sugar Fork Baptist Oh
Church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Howard Felly, Elmer
KcCall, Lester Stanfield, Kelvin Gregory,
Marvin Roper and Patrick Gregory.

Mrs. Emma P, Calloway, owner of the
Vogue Beauty Shop, has moved to iloln
Street in the ^obb building.
Mrs. George Cleveland was elected, at
a Chamber of Commerce meeting, to take
Mrs. Karguite Potts' position at the
Chamber of Commerce, Firs. Potts will t
train her until July first. I^'irs. Potts*
plans are indefinite at the present time.

The annual Sunday School picnic of the
Presbyterian Church was. held at the home
of Miss i'larguerite Ravenel, on Sunset Mt,

Ravenel*s birthday, and has bean an enjoy
able occasion for the past several yeej*s
for the church members ajid many friends
