I raLL LIFT UP MINE EYES UNTO THE HILLS
(Con*t)
Might I share with you the things that
these hills have said to me, personally?
Health# Pure,rarified air, away from
heavy industry, away from dust and smoke of
too heavy traffic, away from crowds where
people become just a name and street num
ber- these things lend to mapy of us a
measure of health and stren^ht, I am re
minded that our Lord went out by himself-
into the mountains, or even into the wild
erness- that He might be alone* The heat
that is do oppressive at other places is
no bother to us,here* The nights are cool-
and we sleep the deep sleep of peace*
Beautiful scenes that §od has made ani/ait
us, everywhere. Some of them beckon us from
the comfort of the automobile and dare us
to stretch muscles that are tired from not
being used. As one dear friend said, taking
a view from one of our mountains, "Ray, I
feel that the cobwebs of my body and mind
are wiped away,"
Health, agter all,is a spititual thing,
a mental thing, as well as a physical thing
Spititually and mentally, these hills can
help us* I believe God planned it that
way* Go and take the rich view from White
side, or Sunset Rock.
