ANNOUNCES OPENING JUNE 18th
The Highlands Art Gallery which is
known as the show place of the Carolinas
will have their opening for this season
next Thursday nighty June 18, at 7*30
p*m* This season marks the beginning
of their twelfth year in Highlands and
the 28th year that the Art Gallery has
been located in the Carolinas*
Mr* Arthur Trock, owner of Highlands
Art Gallery, will return this week frcan
a ten day trip to look at several
estates which are to be purchased by
the Art Gallery* The merchandise which
will be shipped to the Highlands Art
Gallery for sale this summer, includes

Dates have been announced for the
annual hospital bazaar which is for the
benefit of the Highlands Community
Hospital* They are Thiirsday, Friday
and Saturday, July 23-2V25*

Wedding vows were exchanged Friday
evening at eight o*clock by Miss Nora
Elizabeth Rogers and John Roy Potts in
the Highlands Baptist Church* The bride
is the daughter of Mr* and Mrs* Arthur
Rogers of Highlands and the bridegroom
is the son of Mr* and Mrs* Leonard Potts
of Norton*
The Rev* J*H. Propst performed the
ceremony and Mrs# Glenn Shuler presented
a program of wedding music* fecial
music was by Miss Georgia Cleaveland and
Miss Lina Potts, vocalists*
The bride, given in marriage by her
father, wore a gown of silk with an over
skirt of lace* aie carried a bouquet of
carnations*
Miss Betty Baldwin, cousin of the
bride, was maid of honor* Other attends
