Dawkins of Jacksonville| Plorida and Highlands, N*C. will give a talk on his recent tour of Hawaii^ Korea, and the Philipines in the High lands Methodist Church on Sunday, August 9, at 8:00 p*m* Everyone is invited te hear this talk and see the pictures taken while on this trip* OUB SCOUT NEWS Cub Scout Pack 207 spent an enjoyable day at beautiful Black Rock Mountain State Park in Georgia Saturday, August 1* They had as their guest Cub Scout David Bursey of West Palm Beach, Fla* who says “they were a swell 3eunch of boys*” Starting around 11 5*clock a question often heard was **when do we eat?” and sandwiches were hastily prepared for lunch, topped by frosted gingerbread-cup cakes which were baked by Mrs. Bob Langdon, acting Den Mother. The play ground area on the Mountain top was especially interesting for the Cubs indicating such an attraction is needed in Highlands* The hike up to Tennessee Rock left the Cub Master breathless and far behind^ the boys set ting a new record for speed in the climb to the topo This Saturday, August 8, will be a regular meeting at the QLd School Build ing and new boys are urged to join* HIGHLANDS MUSIC FESTIVAL - AUGUST 10 d 11 - AUGUST 24: d 25
