atomic ray gun as his chief weapon, and

licitors and to those who otherwise as
sisted in the Campaign*
They are especially grateful to

paign thus showing an expression of ap
preciation for the hospital in our
community*
Tribute is also paid to the High^-
lander and the Galax News for their pub^
licity which had significant influence in
the success of the Campaign*
The total amount raised in this Fund

Mr* Lester Dawley has announced
that the Fund Drive Office expects to
close officially on September 1*

Mrs* Lenoir Stack, Distriot Deputy
Grand Matron of the 21st District, paid
her official instructional visit to the
Highlands Chapter Order of the Eastern
Star on Monday night* Mrs* Stack is from
^Iva, N.C* and was accompanied ty a
friend.
There were eight visitors at this
one of which was Mrs* Alice Schultz, Past
Grand Matron of Florida* There were
visitors from Florida and one from Denver,
Colorado*
Mrs* Stack was presented with a gift
after which refreshments were served*
